We're rolling into Week 7 of the Election Contest (oh, yes, Week 7 - we're still bringing you the trial live each weekday 9 - 6). We're still recruiting volunteers to hang with Noah for week of March 9 and March 16th, by the way. Morning and afternoon shifts, and the duties are easy as pie. E-mail info@theuptake.org.
In the meantime, there's several events we'd like to cover. If you have a camera and a desire for transparent government, head on down to one of these events and film for The UpTake: http://creator.zoho.com/mmcintee/stories/#
We're now actively looking for filmers for this Wednesday, 10 AM, at Minneapolis City Hall. Local groups on putting pressure on the Hennepin Co. Sherriff's office to help those whose homes have been lost. Details are:

Hennepin County Sherrif's Office
Minneapolis City Hall
A coalition of local grassroots organizations and their allies will converge on the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office at 10:00 am. Participants will gather with the intention of acting to encourage Sheriff Rich Stanek to stop forcing local residents onto the street. In solidarity with the many people in Hennepin County who are in the process of losing their homes, this new coalition is calling for Sheriff Stanek to effect a moratorium on local home evictions
and foreclosures. (Longer details at: http://creator.zoho.com/mmcintee/stories/#)
